Love Seasonally Scattered Part 2

I think this card was quite clever. Don't ya think?!  This one was on the Display Board at the Stampin' Up! Convention.  Woot!!

To make the "LOVE" cloud:
1. Stamp image in Pool Party ink on Whisper White Cardstock.
2. Randomly, free-hand cut out stamped image into the shape of a cloud.
3.  Lay the cut out image over Silver Foil Paper...following the same pattern of the cloud, cut around it
leaving at least a 1/8" edge so it gives a layered look.
There you have it....EVERY CLOUD HAS A SILVER LINING!!

To make the Background:
1.  Cut one edge of a piece of heavy cardstock or the packaging for your DSP into a random scalloped edge.
2.  Ink up a sponge with the Pool Party ink pad.
3. Lay the template onto your card front...toward the top of your card and start sponging just along the edges of the template.
4. Slide the template down and shift to one side then sponge it again.
5.  Continue sponging the entire cardfront until you get the look you want.

To make the tiny 3D hearts:
1.  Punch out 3 tiny hearts from the Itty Bitty Accents Punch Pack for each of the hanging hearts.
2. Crease each heart in half.
3. Adhere one heart flap to another one...using 3 for each 3D heart.
4. Glue it down where you'd want it.

I hope the instructions make sense.  I will do my best to answer any questions you have in the comments section.  Or you can email me at kristajstamps@gmail.com
I guess it's time for me to breakdown and start making some video tutorials.  LOL!

Love Seasonally Scattered

Do you ever have one of those cards you make and you think....that didn't turn out the way that I thought it would?  Well....this is THAT CARD!!  It's kinda cute and showcased the Hearts Framelits quite nicely. It didn't make it on the Display Board, but I still wanted to share.

I used the Hearts Framlits, the positive and negative images.  The LOVE is stamped from the Seasonally Scattered set and I cut the edges with the Tag Topper punch.  Added some Strawberry Slush Bakers Twine, rhinestones, embossed arrows and there you have it.

Rainbow Hearts

I LOVE Valentine's Day....I know, I say it all the time, but hearts are so cute and isn't it fun to tell someone you love them?!  This month at Stampin' Celebration we are challenging you with some bright, fun, heart-filled inspiration photos to get your creative juices flowing.

For this card I used the small heart punch and A LOT of patience to line them all up.  I used Melon Mambo, Strawberry Slush, Calypso Coral, Tangerine Tango, Daffodil Delight, Pistachio Pudding, Soft Sky, Coastal Cabana and last, but not least, Island Indigo.
I didn't know what to do with the backdrop so I double inked up the lines stamp from Gorgeous Grunge and made the rainbow to add more color.  By double inked I mean that 1/2 of the stamp I inked in one color and the other 1/2 I inked the next color down.  I hope that makes sense.  The greeting is from Yipee-Skipee Stamp Set, punched out with the Curly Label punch.

You must join in the fun!  Hop on over there and be crafty!!

Happy Stamping,
Krista

Banner Blast Sale-A-Bration

Wowza....I entered a challenge!!  SALE-A-BRATE good times COME ON! :)

The Friday Mashup asked us to do a Birthday project mashed up with some twine.

So after I made this project I realized it's not a "birthday" per-se, but you might "love" the Birthday person and this card would be perfect, right?!?!  But....i just LOVE the way the twine bow turned out....don't you??

I used the SAB set called Banner Blast, it coordinates with the little banner punch, too.  I also used the new DSP called Sweet Sorbet.  The twine comes in a 3-pack as part of the SAB catalog, too.  Guess what???  YOu can earn each of these items FREE for every $50 you spend starting on January 28th.  Oh my gosh...you HAVE to have these....all of them!!  :)

Happy Stamping and Happy New Year!!

Lollipop Favor

I've said it before and I'll say it again....I love the Design Team at Hand Stamped Sentiments!!  They are such a fun and talented group of ladies.
Today I created a project from my friend Erica's tutorial that I purchased.  Click here to purchase this FABULOUS tutorial with some awesome projects!!

This is one of the projects from that tutorial....I did make a couple of adjustments because I didn't have all of the supplies.  Cute, right?!

I used the Scallop Envelope Die and the Doily Die to make the lollipop holder.  Then I used the Hearts A Flutter stamp set and the the coordinating Framelits.  Tied it all off with Real Red and Pool Party Ribbon.
I got the lollipop at WalMart.  They were 10 for $1.  WOO HOO!

Happy Stamping,
Krista

P.S. This is one of the projects for one of my upcoming classes.

Top of the Bag To Ya

I am busy creating some fun projects for my upcoming classes....4 of them to be exact.  I wanted them to all be a little different.  Here is a fun Small Cello Bag with a topper.  I used the largest Framelit from the Labels Collection and folded it over the top of the bag.

Don't know if you can see them.....but check out the little Rhinestones on the stamped image and the little hearts dangling from the twine.
This is a quick and easy project for any occasion, but you know I love Valentine's Day!!

I used the You Are Loved Stamp Set.

Fancy Valentine Favor

I always like to make things to give to my kids' teachers.  This Valentine's Day we will be off track...this means we will be on a break from school.  So I need to get moving and make something before February 1st.  This is what I came up with using the Fancy Favor Die.

I will fill it up with some little goodies.
Here is a close up shot of the front.  I used the stamps sets called Hearts a Flutter and That's the Ticket.  I love to add a little sparkle and what better way than with our yummy glitter paper?!  Top it all off with the Whisper White Organza ribbon.  So cute!

If you plan to attend this month's Valentine's Day Class you will be making this Fancy Favor Box.

Happy Stamping!
