Winter White Love

Join us this month at Stampin' Celebration!!  Be inspired by the photos pictured above.  Gorgeous, right?!  I love the crispness of the colors in the photos, too.

Here is my take on the inspiration photos.....

I used the Mosaic Embossing folder and highlighted the design with Basic Pearls.  I used the Thinlits "love" for the word and I did it in Midnight Madness blue.  I used the Tasteful Trim die for the rick rack with the Midnight and the Silver Glimmer paper.  And viola....an awesome card.  I'm thinking wedding?!?!

Here is the link to the other fabulous ideas from our Design Team and to the Stampin' Celebration blog too.

Happy "I Do" Day

I'm going to a wedding this weekend for a sweet friend of mine and I wanted to make her and her new hubby a special card.  I found some inspiration over at Stampin' Celebration.  So, not only did I make a card for the big event, I also am entering it into a challenge.

Get on over there and check out the gorgeous creations of the Design Team and join in the fun!

Happy Stamping,

Sophisticated Wedding

Join us this week at Hand Stamped Sentiments and find the inner class and sophistication in you!

I don't have any weddings to go to in the near future.  You know how they come in waves?  I guess the waves are now calm.  But....now I have a card all ready to go for the next one.

Here is my entry....inspired by a card made by Kimberly VanDiepen a long time ago.  I love her work.  Check out her blog here.

For this card I used the Elegant Trio stencil and pressed the Versamark ink pad into the stencil image, added my silver embossing powder and then heated it to set the embossing powder.

I spritzed it with Bashful Blue marker and the Spritzer Tool and added the button, the rhinestone and the little banner.

Before the final assembly I took the Cutter Kit and distressed the edges of the Bashful Blue and the Basic Black layers to give it a softer look.

Sweet, simple, sophisticated.....right?  I think so.  :)

Happy Stamping,
Krista
