Butterfly Welcome Sign

This is on my front door. I used the butterfly die cut and the butterfly embosslit on the outside of the frame. For the paper on the inside of the frame I used a piece of the Sweet Pea Designer paper...a must have! The "welcome" is our vinyl decor element rub on.

I was preparing for the birth of our twin boys. I was so anxious and nervous. I had been on bed rest for several weeks at this point and I wanted it to be over, but not too soon. I wanted to share some pictures leading up to the big moment when my Dr. ripped them out of my body....well....not really "ripped" but it sure felt like that during the recovery. These are some of my favorite belly shots:

My Friend Tracy Young came over to paint my belly like an Easter egg since my boys were going to be "hatched" only 4 days before Easter that year.

Believe it or not, this next picture is the day before I delivered the boys. I was only 41 inches around and only gained 26 lbs. I think I was planning to gain 50+ lbs. but my body just couldn't keep food down.

On my next blog entry I'll post pics of the delivery. Oh, what a great life since then! I LOVE being a MOM!!!!!!

Old School Stamped Projects

Here are a few old projects that I had done in the past.....I thought it might be fun to reflect on some old styles of mine. I haven't changed, too much. I just have more supplies to work with.

The Full View of the Occasions Cards

If you missed this party, I still have 4 card kits left....contact me right away to get your kit!!

I used the "Spritzer Tool" to add a splash of pink on this card:

I used the sponging technique on the edges of this card and the "rock and roll" technique on the flowers.

This card shows the stamp set called "Good Neighbors" and uses the 2-step stamping technique. On my final draft of this card I actually punched the top edge of the striped designer paper with the pinking hearts border punch.

This card is not stamped at all. I used the Flower Folds die cut and the Perfect Polka Dots Embossing Folder in the Big Shot machine to make this card. So spring-y!

Happy Stamping!
