Give Thanks With Seasonally Scattered

3D PROJECT TIME!!
I found a gem at Michaels....Burlap covered FLAT canvases.  Oh my, so cute!  I wanted to use it for a Convention Display Board Sample.  This is what I came up with...a "GIVE THANKS MEMORY KEEPER"

I asked my 3 boys to each write something they are thankful for.  (I wrote the one for Travis, since he's just 3, but he did tell me what to write).
So cute, huh?!  I hot glued the clothespins down and then used them to clip on the little thankful notes.  Each thankful note has a little bit of the "thanks" stamp image.  The backing is a Window Collection Framelit.
I can have the boys write a new note each year and just clip it onto the clothespin.

I used the Autumn Accents Die for the leaves and then embossed them with the Woodgrain Embossing Folder.  Added some Vintage buttons topped with some linen thread.
The "give" is cut from a stamp set in MDS cut out with my Silhouette Cameo.  I stamped the "thanks" image onto Naturals Ivory cardstock and then stamped it again onto Hello Honey.  I hand cut aka "fussy cut" the letters out of the Hello Honey and put it onto the other stamped image to draw more attention to the word.  I sponged the edges with Soft Suede to add a soft look.

These are the boys that wrote these adorable thankful notes:

Happy Birthday Cutie

I'm trying to be better about blogging all that I make.  I have SO many things I haven't showed you in the past, but it's about time I share all the fun I have.  :)  This card is for my friend that ordered cards for her daughters to give to their friends.  Her daughters dance, so I thought this image from the "Sweet Stuff" stamp set was perfect.

For the background I used the Sweet Taffy DSP.  The colors on the card are Smoky Slate, Melon Mambo and Whisper White.  I added some rhinestones for the bling and there you have it!

Weeee-ooooooo!

I always like to have kid cards on hand and this cute set called "You're My Hero" jumped out at me!  I sometimes get to stamp with local Girl Scout Troops and we make cards for local heroes and this set is perfect!

I used a sketch from a challenge blog called Freshly Made Sketches.  Perfect!  Sweet!  Simple!

I added some ribbon, I embossed the black cardstock with the chevron folder and I embossed the firetruck with Black Embossing Powder then cut out the image and colored it in.  It gives it a nice 3D look.

Hop on over to Freshly Made Sketches and check out all of the other fantastic ideas from the design team and all of the other entries using this sketch!!

Pom Reader....

When I blog, I like to do a spin on words for my titles....can you tell?  I think it's funny!  Hee hee!  Anyways, this week we are doing a Pom Pom challenge at Hand Stamped Sentiments.  Think decor, think cheerleading, think fluffy!  :)

Every week this blog continues to challenge me....get out of your comfort zone Krista!!  I had to look up pom pom on Pinterest.  I know, cheating....nah....I just don't do this fluffy stuff often since I have 3 sons!
I made a little flower with the Twitterpated fabric and couldn't decide what to do with it.  Here is the flower....I also put a clear button in the middle.

I added it to a strip of Pink Pirouette cardstock and folded that in half to make a bookmark.  I embossed it, too.

I wanted it to stay nicely in the book so I added magnets to the bottom of the marker so they would clamp together and really save the page.  Make sense?

Here it is marking a page and looking so "fluffy" and "pom pom-y" on the front of my old Twins book.

Happy Stamping!!  I'm "cheering" for you!!

Black, White and Pink

A friend had asked me to create a project for her daughter's Birthday Party...a party for 9 year olds.  She wanted it to be something they could take home as a memento of the occasion.  The theme was Zebra print with hot pink.
I came up with this 6x6 page (it's actually 6"x12" folded in half so it would stand on display).  I needed it to be easy to duplicate, but still stick with the theme.  I'd have to say that I just LOVE the outcome.

I used the Blossom Punch for the flower and the Tasteful Trim die to make the wave.  I also used the 3 Layer Flower  punch and then added a pop of sparkle with the silver glimmer paper for the center of the flower.  This project was simple for the girls to do and my friend took a photo of each girl with her daughter and printed them up in black and white.  What a cute party favor/craft activity!!!!

This just so happens to fall perfectly into the theme challenge created by the fabulous ladies over at Stampin' Celebration.  Get on over there and check it out....they've got some super cute ideas for inspiration!!

Here is a different angle....
