Eggplant and Gold

It's time to be inspired by Stampin' Celebration!  Join us this week!!
I made this simple card with a paper flower using scallop circle punches.  Spritz the scallop circle punched paper and crumble up.  Uncrumble them and lay out to dry.  Once dry layer them and adhere them together.  Fluff up and there you go!

Here are the GORGEOUS inspiration photos....

Pencil Bag with Project Life Tag

Another project that I made for the display board was a fun 3D using the Everyday Adventure Project Life Pack.  I made this fun tag as a bag topper for pencils.

I stapled the tag with some bakers twine and silver ribbon. The tag is made from strips of the PL cards.  SO so easy...PL is not just for Memory Keeping!!

This week at Stampin' Celebration it's time for back to school projects.  Let's see what you can come up with!!

This was a project from the Stampin' Up! Convention 2014.  Don't forget to follow us on Pinterest by clicking on the link below the photo....

Kinda Eclectic Inspired

I've been working with this set for several weeks now.  I was chosen to be a Display Stamper at the Stampin' Up! Convention this year.  I was a bit scared of it at first since the images are so different.  But I really fell in love with the set after using it.  Here is a card that we made at my last class.  It just so happens to be inspired by the photos for the Stampin' Celebration Challenge Blog.

The colors used are Blackberry Bliss, Mossy Meadow, Lost Lagoon and lots of Gold sparkle with the vellum and the sequins.

Join us at Stampin' Celebration!  Check out some totally AWESOME stuff by the other DT too!!

Happy Stamping,
Krista

HSS Color Challenge You Made My Day

This week at Hand Stamped Sentiments is a color challenge.  A friend of mine found a new technique on Splitcoast Stampers called Alcohol Resist Technique.  I wanted to try it.  Look at the lower half of the card...I embossed it with an embossing folder.  Tapped Versamark ink on it, poured clear embossing powder on it, tapped it off and heated it up until it left a shiny surface.
Then I took a spray bottle filled with rubbing alcohol and a few drops of Gumball Green ink refill.  Spritzed that on the embossed paper and then wiped off the excess.

This is what I came up with....

Stamps: Petite Petals, A Dozen Thoughts

Oma and Opa Scrapbook Page

Be inspired this month at Stampin' Celebration!  Here are some beautiful pictures to help you!!

I immediately thought these photos would make a gorgeous scrapbook page.  I'm really loving everything GOLD right now.  I found this awesome picture of my Grandparents taken just a month ago.  Aren't they cute?!  I am truly blessed to have them!!  I can't wait to frame this!!  Soon I will be making one for my other set of grandparents....YES I still have them in my life, too!!  I am one truly blessed granddaughter!!

Here are some close ups of those lovely flowers...see the sanding on the "core-dinations" cardstock?!

Ingredients...
Colors: Baked Brown Sugar, Soft Suede, Early Espresso, Sahara Sand, Very Vanilla
Stamps:  Off The Grid, Fabulous Florets
Accessories: Gold foil paper, core-dinations cardstock, gold sequins, gold embossing powder, pearls, Victoria crochet trim.

Don't recognize the leaves as a die cut?  Well....it's actually a stamp image on MDS from the Betsy's Blossom stamp set.  I used my Silhouette Cameo to enlarge the image and cut it out.  Cool, huh?!?

Krista

Rainbow Hearts

I LOVE Valentine's Day....I know, I say it all the time, but hearts are so cute and isn't it fun to tell someone you love them?!  This month at Stampin' Celebration we are challenging you with some bright, fun, heart-filled inspiration photos to get your creative juices flowing.

For this card I used the small heart punch and A LOT of patience to line them all up.  I used Melon Mambo, Strawberry Slush, Calypso Coral, Tangerine Tango, Daffodil Delight, Pistachio Pudding, Soft Sky, Coastal Cabana and last, but not least, Island Indigo.
I didn't know what to do with the backdrop so I double inked up the lines stamp from Gorgeous Grunge and made the rainbow to add more color.  By double inked I mean that 1/2 of the stamp I inked in one color and the other 1/2 I inked the next color down.  I hope that makes sense.  The greeting is from Yipee-Skipee Stamp Set, punched out with the Curly Label punch.

You must join in the fun!  Hop on over there and be crafty!!

Happy Stamping,
Krista

Here is my take on the inspiration photo....

Close up of the double bow and the 5 hearts folded and glued together to make this super fun 3D heart.

I also used the Core-dinations paper with the Woodgrain Embossing Folder.  Fun, right?!

Red and White Valentine

Be inspired this week at Hand Stamped Sentiments.  I love the clean and simple look and this card is no exception.  I used the Honeycomb Embossing Folder, the Small Heart Punch and Real Red Grosgrain Striped Ribbon and Viola....

Here is the inspiration photo for this week's challenge at Hand Stamped Sentiments.  Do you see the backdrop?  It's covered in envelopes!  Too cute!!

Here is the inside of my card:

I used the Small Heart Punch to make the line of hearts on the bottom.
The stamp is from the set called Delightful Dozen.

Make sure you get over there to Hand Stamped Sentiments and see how the photo inspired
the rest of the Design Team!

Happy Stamping!
