Vintage Part 4

Here is a card that I made with many different things for this adorable baby card. I know I got carried away for just one card, but I kept adding more things to it, I still think it's so cute.

Here are the ingredients:
Stamps: Puns From the Past, Vintage Jumbo Wheel, Sanded Background, Vintage Vogue and Elements of style
Inks: Versamark, Pretty in Pink, Chocolate Chip
Cardstock: Kraft, Very Vanilla, Pretty in Pink
Accessories: Top Note Die Cut, cutters tool, spritzer tool, Vanilla Satin Ribbon, rhinestone brad, clear embossing powder, stampin' sponge

P.S. I still have a few openings for my card making class this week. Contact me if you are interested.

Another Vintage Card

I used Crushed Curry, Not Quite Navy and Kraft on this card. The designer paper is called Razzleberry Lemondade. I used the stamp set called Puns From the Past. I used a neutral button, linen thread, and satin vanilla ribbon. I roughed up the edges using the cutting tool, and punched the edge of the Not Quite Navy with the Eyelet Border punch. So fun!
More Vintage to come....then the BIG ANNOUNCEMENT of our Mother's Day project that we will be making at my house on May 6th.

Vintage Crazy!

Here is another "vintage" project:

I used the "Elements of Style" stamp set that will be available in the Summer mini catalog coming out on May 1st. This card is inspired by the projects that the Stampin' Up! CEO-Shelly Gardener created at the Leadership Convention that I went to in January. Check out the piece of an old thesaurus that I used in the corner. I also spritzed it with the "Log Cabin Shimmer Spritz" which is also coming out May 1st. The spritz is really heavy, however...it's not too bad. This was my first card that got "spritzed." :) I'm learning how to use it still.

Here is a close up photo from a different angle:

I think we might be making a similar card at my next card party here at my house. Contact me today if you are interested in joining me for some stamping fun!!

Krista

You Won't Believe It...

I went VINTAGE!! Here are some photos of my most recent projects.

Isn't this a cute little paint can? I used the Bella Blue Designer Paper. Check out the layers, the silver embossing and the vintage crinkled flowers. Look at the back:

The next few photos are using the "emboss resist" technique. I also used some of our new Shimmer Spritz on the card with the fleur de lis. By the way, I didn't used a stamp set, I used the "Elegant Trio" stencil set from the Decor Elements mini catalog.

I will post more vintage cards and projects this week.

Happy Stamping,
Krista

My Spring Bouquet

This is my paper version of flowers. They are using the Daisy #2 die cut and any large brad. I pushed the brads into the eraser. That part wasn't easy, but I finally used some pliers to bend the arms of the brad and that really helped save my fingernails. Don't you just love the colors?
