Pump It Up

If you know my boys at all...you would know that they tend to be a little shy and reserved out in public. They would NEVER step foot in a bounce house if there were any other kids, especially. We recently went to an indoor bounce house place called Pump It Up for a birthday party for Jessi. She is the daughter of a long time friend of mine.

To my suprise, the boys warmed up very quickly to the bounce houses and by the end of the day, they were crying because they didn't want to leave. I was in shock, so I had to take a billion pictures to prove that they actually did go in the bounce houses and on the slides AND with other kids, too!!!

Thank you to my friend Karen for hosting a really fun birthday party. And Happy Birthday to 3 year old Jessi...the boys had a blast at your party!!!

Sorry it's been so long...I have been busy working on what I am going to talk about a MOPS this Friday. I am planning to share our testimony of our finances and how God has blessed us. I am also hosting 2 small parties this weekend. Boy am I gonna be busy, but it's gonna be lots of fun. I just hope that my icky toe will cooperate and let me wear a shoe comfortably.

Here is a photo of card I created to give to our MOPS speakers. I really love the paper piercing in the corners. I used the Crafter's Tool kits mats and paper piercer. I used the Tart and Tangy Stamp Set and DSP. Hope you like it!
Happy Stamping,

By the way, my toe is in recovery from the accident yesterday. Luke and Tyler have been so good all day and gave me a break from peeling them away from each other (fighting). They have been helpful and understanding. I had a nice relaxing day...caught up on all of my recorded shows. I hope that it heals right away, I want to go to Disneyland this week with my mom and my sister, and of course, the boys, too.

Happy Stamping,
Krista

I have a boo boo!

OUCH...today I stubbed my pinkie toe. Turns out that it is probably broken. The doctor couldn't tell exactly where it was broken, it might even be my foot, but I'll know on Monday or Tuesday after the x-ray results are back. Tyler told me that he'll just cut off my toe, so I'll feel better.

After a long day spent hobbling around to let people poke, prod and take pics of my foot, I arrived home to find a huge case full of the new Stampin' Up! Idea Book and Catalogs!!!

WOO HOO!!!! IT HAS ARRIVED, the new SU! Catalog is here!!! I must say, lots of new styles, lots of retro design and lots of color. It is beautiful. I can't wait for you all to see it. Contact me today to get a copy. I have them for sale for only $7. Retail value $9.95.

I'll post a picture tomorrow. My foot hurts and I need to get some rest.

Pocket Silhouettes

This is a card I created for the hostess appreciation party. We had lots of fun making this card.
The colors used are Old Olive, Baja Breeze, Not Quite Navy, Whisper White and Basic Gray.
The Designer Series Paper (DSP) is Urban Garden. I also used Basic Gray Taffeta Ribbon, Flower Fusion felt flowers, Silver brads, and the Crafters Tool Kit.
Click here to order any of these products.

Decor Elements

Stampin' Up! has created an entire line of gorgeous vinyl Decor Elements for your home. Essentially they are rub ons for your walls or any other smooth surface. They are super easy to apply and can be removed anytime. This is a great way to decorate and add some design to your home. This is a frame with the Parisan Decor Elements in Kraft color directly on the outside surface of the glass. (I don't think this picture does it justice.) I took some of our Designer Series Paper and made a backdrop that is inside the frame. I love the way it came out. A simple piece of art that can be moved anywhere. My sister was the recipient of this one...it was a Christmas gift. The nice thing about this is that she can take it with her when she moves. I think the picture doesn't do it justice.

You can also view my Stampin' Up! website to see all of the fabulous different designs and colors.

Luke and Tyler on a Turtle

I have had a few requests to post pictures of Luke and Tyler....so here is a favorite from Palm Springs on December 14th. This was a really fun park where they had a pretend fire truck to climb all over. They loved it, but it was really cold out...a nice 40 degrees. Cold for us fair weathered friends.
(Tyler on the leftand Luke on the right)

The boys are almost 4! It has gone by so fast. I wanted to share some of my favorite things they have said lately.

Luke commented about getting Christmas gifts after being threatened that Santa knows when he hasn't been good. "How do I keep getting all these presents...I've been a little bad."

Tyler: "I'll close the door Luke so you can concentrate." This was because Luke was trying to go poop on the toilet.

They are hilarious and keep me on my toes. They say the funniest things and have developed very colorful personalities.

I love being a mom! Who knew the girl that didn't think she wanted kids?? God had a bigger plan, a better one!!!!!

Love, Krista

"Sew Glad We're Friends"

There are a few accessories and stamp sets that we must bid adieu. Contact me to get the latest on available retiring SU! products lists. You can visit my website for more information, too.
I wanted to share a recent card that I designed that was inspired by the Stampin' Up! IB&C Fall/Winter 2008-09. I just took the design down a knotch. We made this card among other projects at my "Hostess Appreciation" party.

I'm off to get some rest. We spent the day at Disneyland and I'm exhausted. I'll write more about that tomorrow.

Scrapbooking...woo hoo!

I haven't scrapbooked in a while, so I decided to host a day of scrapbooking with my friends. I got a lot done, but I didn't put as many details as I usually do. I am now officially only 2 years behind. HA!

Here is a photo of a page I did yesterday. It is Luke and Tyler's 2nd birthday. (They'll be 4 in March) =)

I'm back...

I just love reading other stampers blogs that I thought that it's about time I rejoin my blogging. It has been a nice break from MOPS and from stamping over the past two weeks, but I'm ready to get busy again. I did get a chance to spend some time with my boys and love all of their imagination and especially all of the long words they use...like "definitely" and "concentrate" It's so funny, they even use the words in context. I just love this age!

Anyways, back to stamping. I have created some fun projects for upcoming classes. Here is a photo of an art journal I made for a customer. She gave this to her niece for Christmas.

This is a Stampin' Up! art journal and I used Certainly Celery and Chocolate Chip colors.
