Kindness Butterfly

I got the set called Kindness matters so long ago and have never used it.  When a challenge using Regal Rose and Basic Gray came up this stamp came right out at me.  I really wanted to put one of the greetings on it, but I really couldn't find a place for it....that was pleasing to my eye.  :)  We can always use blank cards, though.
So here it is...

Here is a close up.  I used the new framelit called Apothecary Labels.  Then I ran some taffeta ribbon through it and then tied some knots on it to add some texture.  I also love the new fan embossing folder.  So sweet!  What could finish this card off better than some rhinestones?!

Check out this week's challenge at Dynamic Duos....there's only a few hours left for this one, but you can always check out what's next!!  :)

HAPPY STAMPING!!

Black, White and Pink

A friend had asked me to create a project for her daughter's Birthday Party...a party for 9 year olds.  She wanted it to be something they could take home as a memento of the occasion.  The theme was Zebra print with hot pink.
I came up with this 6x6 page (it's actually 6"x12" folded in half so it would stand on display).  I needed it to be easy to duplicate, but still stick with the theme.  I'd have to say that I just LOVE the outcome.

I used the Blossom Punch for the flower and the Tasteful Trim die to make the wave.  I also used the 3 Layer Flower  punch and then added a pop of sparkle with the silver glimmer paper for the center of the flower.  This project was simple for the girls to do and my friend took a photo of each girl with her daughter and printed them up in black and white.  What a cute party favor/craft activity!!!!

This just so happens to fall perfectly into the theme challenge created by the fabulous ladies over at Stampin' Celebration.  Get on over there and check it out....they've got some super cute ideas for inspiration!!

Here is a different angle....

Patriotic

This is an entry for the Dynamic Duos Challenge #5.  Click here to check out the gorgeous Design Team projects and all of the fabulous entries.  So many beautiful things!!

Here is my entry.  It's actually a page from the layout we'll be making in July with my scrap club.  Too cute, right?!  This was the only photo I had laying around that had good color for this layout.  What an adorable face!!

Here is a photo collage of some of the detail on the page.  I'm sorry for the poor settings on the camera, the hubby got a hold of it to take pics of our hummingbird nest on our porch.
I wish the white was white not vanilla, but it matches the color of the baby's shirt better.  LOL!

I hope you all have a happy and safe Independence Day this year!!
