Father's Day....Asian Style

My kids are so blessed to have such a great daddy! I am so glad that God brought us together nearly 10 years ago. I hope that he has a fantastic Father's Day this year...he deserves more than a day of celebration!! Here is a proud daddy:

I was trying to think out of the box for the challenge this week at Hand Stamped Sentiments.

Our challenge is "Father's Day" and I decided to add all of the elements of the Asian Culture. They are Earth, Air, Water, Fire and Wood. Here is my card:

Let me explain my definition of these elements in the card.

Earth: The Bonsai Tree
Air: The free space and the dimensionals lifting the elements
Water: The blue circles
Fire: The Poppy color and the Crystal Effects on the pot of the plant
Wood: The rattan feel of the embossed background

I like the clean lines and the colors...all have a nice symmetry and crisp look. Very masculine. :) Here is a close up of the dimension:

And another angle....

Ingredients:
Colors: Poppy Parade, Early Espresso, Bashful Blue, Very Vanilla
Stamps: Plant Hope, Teeny Tiny Wishes
Accessories: Big Shot, Embossing Folder, Crystal Effects, 1-3/4" Circle Punch, 3/4" Circle Punch, Word Window Punch

Happy Stamping,
Krista
