Water Works

No, my friends, this post is not about the game of Monopoly....nor have I been crying a lot.  It's all about watercoloring over at Hand Stamped Sentiments this week.  Get out your Aqua Painters or paint brushes and start water coloring!!

Here is my entry for the week:

I have been in need of baby cards to go along with gifts.  So I have these cute, simple little 3"x3" gift cards made up in a variety of colors.

I heat embossed the cuddly little bear with black embossing powder.  I like to do that, especially when I am using water colors.  It helps the paint to not bleed into the other sections of the stamped image.  It also makes for crisp lines that don't bleed either.

Ingredients:
Colors-  Baja Breeze, Pretty In Pink, So Saffron, Certainly Celery, Basic Black, Whisper White
Stamps- Bear Hugs
Accessories-  Black Embossing Powder, Heat Tool, Versamark Pad, Ink Refills, Aqua Painter, Stazon Black ink

Happy Stamping,
Krista

Great idea! I love how you colored the bears. Simple but stunning gift cards. TFS
