Spring Has Sprung

I decided to enter the challenge at the Paper Players this week since the design in my head for the next scrapbook club fit in to their challenge.  Perfect!!!  :)  Thanks Ann, you read my mind.

Here is the sketch:

Here is my version of this sketch:

I would like to thank my friend Erin Gonzalez for inspiring me to do the layered scallops.  She's done this on quite a few of her latest projects and it adds such an attractive look with lots of color.
I used the Tasteful Trim die cut for the scalloped layers and the Flower Folds die cut for that fluffy flower.  I stamped the Marina Mist background with one of the flower stamps from the Mixed Bunch set.  Cute page....ready for Easter.  On the second page of this layout I think I'll do either a bunny or a cross...probably a cross.  I'll post the second page later.   :)

Ingredients:
Colors:  Marina Mist, Regal Rose, Lucky Limeade, So Saffron, Very Vanilla, Peach Parfait
Stamps:  Mixed Bunch
Accessories:  Top Note, Tasteful Trim and Flower Folds dies, Subtles Button, Bakers Twine, Celery Satin Ribbon

Happy Stamping,
Krista
