Monochromatic Challenge at HSS

It's time to go monochromatic at Hand Stamped Sentiments. Check out this week's challenge and get stamping.

We'd love to see what you come up with. Here is my card this week:

Do you notice the doily it's sitting on....my Grandmother made it for me. I have the honor of owning some of her beautiful doilies and crochet table cloths. She came over the other day and I showed her this card....she loved it. I love this stamp, too....reminds me of her every time I look at it. Here is a close up shot of the card:

Ingredients:
Colors: Basic Gray, Very Vanilla
Stamps: Hello Doily, Messages For Mom
Accessories: Versamark, Clear Embossing Powder, Heat Tool, Basic Gray Satin Ribbon, Basic Gray Buttons, Sponge

Happy Stamping,
Krista

Beautiful! I love the embossed doily image. Now I have to have that stamp. Thanks for the inspiration. I also like that your grandmother's handmade doilies was your inspiration.

This is a wonderful card! The embossed doily worked out perfectly and I love how you've sponged around it. I too have some of my Grandma's doilies - keepsakes for sure.
