5x5 On Board Art Journal

These are pics of the journals I altered for my downline group. We will be having regular meetings...one per quarter is my goal. Click here to join my team of Stampin' Up! demonstrators. You will love the benefits and the income of having a home based business and SU! is so much fun, too! Contact me for more information on becoming an SU! demonstrator.

Father's Day

Here is the picture of the Father's Day card that I made for Bryan and our fathers and grandfathers. We had a very fun day with Bryan and his family at his grandparents house in Canyon Lake. They have a house right on the lake...original owners...original house....original decor. ;)

New Day Christian Church Paper Crafting Class

What a fun night! I got to stamp with 10 wonderful ladies from my church. We made 3 cards and a cute little box. We donated one of the "Praying for You" cards back to the church for the Compassion Ministry to use.

A lot of the ladies there are new stampers...and they sure seemed to have a great time. The projects are cute, but simple. If you would like to join us next month, July 16th at 7pm, please click here to contact me.

60 Year Anniversary

How lucky am I? Not only do I have all 4 of my Grandparents, I get to attend their 60th anniversary party. Last year, we went to my dad's parents 60th anniversary party and this July we are planning my mom's parents 60th! WOW!!! They must really like each other. ;) This photo is the invitation we made for the party. Isn't is simple, but sweet. The 60th anniversary is the "diamond" anniversary. So we thought that the rhinestone brads would be a nice touch. Happy Anniversary Grandma and Grandpa "Pumpkin"!!!

Love, Krista

June Gloom

This is a card I made with a retired stamp set called "Do the Hula". I am dreaming of laying under this palm tree with a diet coke and a package of Red Vines. Yum! With June gloom in full swing, I seem to have gotten myself into a bit of a funk. I am still sore from tweaking the muscles in my back a couple days ago and I'm feeling a bit down. What can help me feel better? Food...maybe. Counseling....probably. Sunshine....you bet. Stamping....now that's what I need. I sure wish I could just have one day, one WHOLE day of no house cleaning, no kids in the house, no email, no surfing the web, no facebook and no phone calls. Just me in my stamper room, some goodies to munch on and some good old movies on. The possiblities would be endless. I'd try to make something for myself, which is something that I don't do very often. Hmmm....wonder what I'd make.....
