Kindess Tag With Kinda Eclectic

 I'm so bummed the photo looks so yellow....on my iPhoto program it looks fine.  Sorry!

Anyways....I'm such a vertical/horizontal card maker I pushed myself to go tilted....HA! 

I cut a cute little tag with the Tag Topper Punch and stamped the leaf on it.  Added a little sprout of various ribbons, punched some flowers from the Itty Bitty Punch Pack and there's the tag!

The butterfly was easy with the stamp and coordinating punch.  I added some pearls and a banner for the greeting. Done!

Falling Leaves in a Sketch

It's sketch time over at Hand Stamped Sentiments.  This may be my last Thanksgiving/Fall card this year.  Is it really the fall?  Seriously....it's been like 80 degrees PLUS here, until just a few days ago.  Finally it's like 65* today!  YAY!!  Anyways, back to stamping!!

Here is my card this week.  Looking at it here in the photo, I'm wishing I would have used a different color for the background.  Oh well...I still like the colors as a whole.

I did the "rock and roll" technique on the leaves.  I used Midnight Madness, Island Indigo, Crushed Curry, Cajun Craze, and Soft Suede.  It looks okay if I say so myself.  :)

Fall Gift Giving #2

I don't always drink from a bottle, but when I do I drink Sparkling Cider.  LOL!

This year I wanted to create fun ways to thank a hostess for being so gracious at Thanksgiving.  Yesterday it was a mason jar....today it's a bottle tag.

Here is a close up shot of the leaves.  I love this die!  The leaves can be funky, realistic and vintage.  Depending on how you use them!  So versatile!  And you can't go wrong adding some sparkle paper with your bottle of sparkling cider.

Tag For Christmas

I love Christmas!  I wish I had more time to make Christmas crafts throughout the year!  That needs to be my New Year's Resolution!!  Start making Christmas stuff EARLY!!  Well, this year, I hosted my Christmas paper crafting class early!  All of my friends that came got to make this cool tag. 

Tags are so much fun and can spice up any old wrapping paper or plain bag.  I think this sweet and simple tag could use some glitter or bling, but I didn't want to distract from the swirls, the ornament stamp and the fun little sprouts of ribbon.

Fruity!!

Take a sweet, crisp, delicious apple.... and add a simple little tag.  Perfect gift for a teacher on the first day of school!  My boys started 2nd grade today.  I can't believe how time flies!!  Here is a photo of my handsome boys on their first day:

It's Easter time at Hand Stamped Sentiments!!

I wanted to make a card, but it turned into a tag.  I think it would make a nice adornment for a gift bag or basket. This was inspired by a card we made at my last upline's demo group meeting.  Thanks to Lis Ljung for the inspiration!! 

I felt like the stamped image needed some pop, so I painted on a little shimmer paint over the colored in dove.  I also sponged all over the tag and the embossed frame with Early Espresso Ink.

Ingredients:

Colors:  Baja Breeze, Crumb Cake, So Saffron, Very Vanilla,  Early Espresso

Stamps: Easter Dove

Accessories:  Victoria Crochet Trim, Crumb Cake Taffeta and Seam Binding ribbon, Baja Breeze Pleated Ribbon, Basic Pearls, Designer Frames embossing folder, Corner Rounder punch, Frost White shimmer paint  Decorative Label Punch, XL Oval punch
