Fancy Valentine Favor

I always like to make things to give to my kids' teachers.  This Valentine's Day we will be off track...this means we will be on a break from school.  So I need to get moving and make something before February 1st.  This is what I came up with using the Fancy Favor Die.

I will fill it up with some little goodies.
Here is a close up shot of the front.  I used the stamps sets called Hearts a Flutter and That's the Ticket.  I love to add a little sparkle and what better way than with our yummy glitter paper?!  Top it all off with the Whisper White Organza ribbon.  So cute!

If you plan to attend this month's Valentine's Day Class you will be making this Fancy Favor Box.

Happy Stamping!

Back In Color

It's always fun playing with new goodies!  This card is no exception!!  I placed an order for myself for Christmas this year. Now that Christmas is over, I allowed myself to play with the new products from the upcoming Spring Catalog.  Here is what I came up with....

Did you notice the little bit of Basic Black peeking out from behind the hearts?  I wanted to make it look like a shadow.
Join us this week at Hand Stamped Sentiments for a BRAND NEW Challenge with a BRAND NEW look and a BRAND NEW system for the challenges.  You will LOVE IT!!
Click here to visit this awesome challenge....don't miss out!!

Here are some more shots of the card that I made for this challenge.  I really love the simplicity, and most of all, I LOVE the new embossing folder.  It's called Needlepoint Border from the new catalog.  Can you see it?  It's just below the Primrose ribbon.  Awwww....so sweet!!

Here is a close up of the cutie little tags that I attached with a tiny safety pin from the Vintage Trinkets. Check out the layers of the hearts, too....

Ingredients:
Colors: Pool Party, Primrose Petals, Basic Black and Whisper White.
Stamps: Hearts a Flutter, Tiny Tags
Accessories:  Tiny Tag punch, Vintage Trinkets, Hearts a Flutter Framelits, Primrose Petals Stitched Satin Ribbon, White Taffeta Ribbon, Needlepoint Border Embossing Folder, Big Shot

Baby Wipeeee

I love playing with new goodies.  This is a stamp set that I just got from our Holiday Catalog.  I used the baby wipe technique on the heart image.  I can't wait to mail this one off to a friend....

Monochromatic Christmas

Join us this week at Hand Stamped Sentiments for a fun challenge using monochromatic colors.
I wanted to use Wisteria Wonder and Elegant Eggplant with lots of sparkle.

I painted the embossed background with white shimmer paint.  I also rubbed some paint over the stamped image of the little snow-family.  You can kind of see the shimmer, but it really shines in the light.
Join us this week and get your colors coordinated!!

Happy Stamping,
Krista
