I Freakin' Love You

I've been known from time to time to squeeze my kids' faces and say "I Freakin' Love You"...they are just so cute and squishy sometimes.
This week at Hand Stamped Sentiments we are using a photo for inspiration.  Now, after Convention this year I feel like my brain is on project overload....and all I could come up with was SIMPLE...I know....AGAIN.
But here it is folks....straight lines and super cute, right?!  :)

I used the Gorgeous Grunge and Yippee-Skippee sets for this card.
The colors are Summer Starfruit, Gumball Green and Raspberry Ripple...all In Colors.

Join us this week and be inspired by THIS PHOTO:

HSS #164

It's time for another sketch challenge at Hand Stamped Sentiments.  I used the set called Six Sided Sampler and punched out the shapes with the hexagon punch.  The colors are Island Indigo, Daffodil Delight and Very Vanilla.

I added some sparkle with the rhinestones and a few spritzes of Vanilla Shimmer Spritz.  Tied up a fabulous bow with Vanilla Seam Binding and viola!

Here is the sketch....
Now get on over there and join us for the fun!!

Weeee-ooooooo!

I always like to have kid cards on hand and this cute set called "You're My Hero" jumped out at me!  I sometimes get to stamp with local Girl Scout Troops and we make cards for local heroes and this set is perfect!

I used a sketch from a challenge blog called Freshly Made Sketches.  Perfect!  Sweet!  Simple!

I added some ribbon, I embossed the black cardstock with the chevron folder and I embossed the firetruck with Black Embossing Powder then cut out the image and colored it in.  It gives it a nice 3D look.

Hop on over to Freshly Made Sketches and check out all of the other fantastic ideas from the design team and all of the other entries using this sketch!!

Happy Stamping,
